Global Village is a new Global Citizenship Education (GCE) programme for primary schools in Ireland. It aims to support primary school pupils to become active global citizens committed to building a fairer and more sustainable world.

Pilot School Programme
There are 16 schools currently participating in the Global Village Pilot Schools programme, which supports teachers to incorporate GCE into their classroom practice and the whole school environment. -
CPD Webinars
Global Village offer a series of webinars designed for teachers and school leaders, exploring GCE themes, approaches and methodologies for the Primary school setting. -
Research
Global Village, with the support of DCU, are carrying out research in a number of areas to examine what is curently available and what more is needed to support GCE in Primary Schools.
